Yoga poses

Yoga offers beginners several easy poses to start off with, and from there you can progress onto more challenging poses as your body feels ready and as the yoga class progresses.

Beginners’ yoga poses include:

  • Child pose
  • Forward bend
  • Triangle
  • Cow pose
  • Cat pose
  • Saluting the sun

When peforming these poses, always make sure your body is stable and that you have enough space to avoid injury.
