Up for the challenge: Rachel Kolisi shares 25-day lockdown fitness plan
Rachel Kolisi has vowed to give up sugar and meat in her new fitness challenge.
The rugby WAG, who is married to Boks captain Siya Kolisi, has shared her new health journey with her social media followers.
Vowing to get to a healthy “spiritual, physical and emotional space”, the mom of two set a goal of looking and feeling good about herself
RACHEL KOLISI: LOCKDOWN HAPPENED AND I STRUGGLED
Rachel Kolisi told her followers that the aim of her 25-day fitness challenge was to prove to herself that she can achieve anything she sets her mind to.
“I didn’t realise how much I started depending on others to navigate my own health and fitness. Then lockdown happened and I was for the most part on my own and I reeeally struggled.”
“So in these few weeks I wanted to prove firstly to myself but to others too, that you are more then capable of going the journey with yourself, for yourself.
The philanthropist also attributed her weight gain to lockdown and being out of the loop of her normal fitness routine.
“If I’m not training I put on weight — fast,” she confessed.
NO SUGAR AND NO MEAT
As part of Rachel Kolisi’s challenge, she has vowed to cut out meat and sugar from her diet for the next 25 days.
The 31-year-old blonde beauty will also undertake intermittent fasting, at least one workout a day — “even if it’s 10 minutes”, she claims — and drink “at least three litres of water per day”.
And the end goal, stresses the star, is not necessarily weight loss, she adds.
“My intention always has, and always will be to encourage confidence, and health. I don’t believe that comes from looking a certain way.”
We can’t wait to see what the star looks like in 25 days!
